if you call yourself (and/or others) a “gold star lesbian” you are a lesbophobe end of story
not everyone figures out their sexuality immediately and compulsory heterosexuality means that a lot of us don’t even question how we identify until we’ve experienced heterosexual relationships and realised that we’re not compatible with that lifestyle, and even then a lot of us have no concept of lesbianism outside of heteronormative portrayals of it so it can literally take us years to realise that it’s a valid and fitting identity for us.
if you seriously think that some lesbians are “better” or more “true” lesbians than others just because they never dated or had sex with a man before they realized they were lesbians then you’re invalidating us for very real, potentially traumatic experiences that weren’t our fault and that makes you a lesbophobe and not someone i want anywhere near me or my blog.
terfs don’t even look at this post my definition of women and lesbians is trans inclusive and i like my blog clown free
